CHERRIES have had a bid accepted for Leeds United’s Tyler Adams, the Daily Echo understands.

The deal for Adams will be worth upwards of £23million if certain criteria are met.

It had been reported that Cherries had made a bid earlier in the week that matched the American’s £20million release clause, only for the clause to expire.

Adams has now travelled to complete his medical, although he is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury that required surgery in March.

There has been somewhat of an exodus at Elland Road following their relegation from the Premier League last season, with Leeds’ campaign taking a huge hit when Adams was ruled out for the end of it.

It has been reported that Adams will sign a five-year deal at Vitality Stadium.

Cherries have made six signings already this window, although Romain Faivre will spend this campaign on loan at FC Lorient.
