ANDONI Iraola feels Cherries were “in control” of their match against FC Lorient on Saturday, which resulted in a 2-0 victory.
Goals from David Brooks and Kieffer Moore ensured Iraola’s men ended pre-season with a win, ahead of the Premier League getting underway next weekend.
Lorient, who finished 10th in the French top flight last season, showed some signs of danger in the first half, but neither Neto, nor substitute goalkeeper Andrei Radu were seriously tested throughout the contest.

Reflecting on the win, Cherries’ head coach Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think overall we were in control of the game.
“We had to be ready also, because they were dangerous on the counters.
“But overall we did not concede a lot of chances.
“Especially the second half, when the game opened a little bit more, we had more opportunities to score.”
