CARDIFF City are considering making an offer to bring Cherries striker Kieffer Moore to the club on loan, according to a report by Wales Online.

Moore joined Cherries from the Bluebirds in January 2022, for a fee of around £3.5million, signing a three-and-a-half year contract.

Since, the former Dorchester Town man has scored eight goals in 33 appearances for Cherries, notably the promotion-sealing strike against Nottingham Forest.

Championship Cardiff, who are currently under a transfer embargo and can only sign players on loan or for free, have already snapped up Moore’s Wales teammate Aaron Ramsey this summer.

Any potential deal has been described as being “at a very embryonic stage”, and will be dependent on if Cherries would sanction such a deal.

The report claims Moore “does not figure in the plans” of new boss Andoni Iraola, although he did start the first friendly under the Spaniard, in victory over Hibernian.

It goes on to add how the 30-year-old “is said to be keen” to return to Cardiff, after his previous successful spell.
