POOLE Town have confirmed the capture of former Cherries youngster Luke Nippard.
A free agent since departing National South Weymouth at the end of last season, the central midfielder becomes the three new addition at Poole of the summer transfer window.
He follows fellow midfielder Cam Murray in making the switch from the Terras to Dolphins this summer, with Poole also signing defender Harvey Wright.
Poole-born Nippard had a loan spell with the Dolphins during the 2019/20 campaign, alongside new teammate Luke Pardoe.
The 22-year-old featured 17 times in the sixth tier for Weymouth last campaign, and previously had a loan spell at Eastbourne Borough prior to his release from Cherries last summer.
A hamstring injury limited Nippard’s total appearances last campaign to 22, with the midfielder departing the Bob Lucas Stadium in search of more regular gametime.
