CHAIRMAN Bill Foley has reportedly offered the Cherries playing squad a trip to Las Vegas as a reward for staying up.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Foley, who also owns NHL outfit Vegas Golden Knights, made the offer after visiting the Cherries dressing room after they had defeated Leeds United 4-1.

The supposed offer was also extended to the backroom staff.

But there are doubts to whether players or staff will be able to take their chairman up on their offer, with many already having made plans for holidays.

The Mail also report that a “seven-figure bonus” will be split amongst the Cherries team for securing safety, a pre-existing reward negotiated before the start of the campaign.

Foley led Black Knight Football Entertainment’s takeover of the club to completion in December, taking over stewardship from Maxim Demin.

Other survival-related bonuses reported include an automatic one-year contract extension for head coach Gary O’Neil for securing a second season of Premier League football.

Cherries celebrated their first promotion to the Premier League back in 2015 with a trip to Sin City, whilst this year National League team Wrexham AFC were sent to Las Vegas after winning their league by Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny.
