TONY Lee ran riot at the Avenue, scoring four times as Poole beat Dorchester 6-1.

Dolphins were trailing 14 minutes in, Alex Moyse opening scores for the hosts.

But by half-time they were 3-1 up, Cam Murray, Jamie Whisken and Tony Lee all on the scoresheet.

Lee added a further three goals in the second half, giving Poole a final score of 6-1.

Magpies opened the scores when Charlie Gunson cut the ball back for the awaiting Moyse, who fired past Will Butler for his first goal in Dorchester colours.

Poole huffed and puffed for an equaliser, which eventually came in the form of Murray, the Dolphins taking advantage of Dorch being temporarily reduced to 10 men as Lewis Waterfield received treatment.

That sparked a flurry of goals for Poole, Dolphins converting from two corners.

Captain Whisken headed home at the near post to give the away side the lead, before Lee’s acrobatic effort made it 3-1 heading into the break.

Poole made sure of the result with another corner midway through the second-half, Lee heading home his second of the afternoon.

The striker completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot, before adding a fourth for good measure.

Poole: Butler, Dickson, Whisken, Spetch, Hutchinson, Murray, Moore, Fogden, Daws, T Holmes (Adu-Adjei, 66), Lee.

Unused subs: Rose, Olumuyiwa, Andrews, Pardoe.
