CHRIS BILLAM-SMITH is set for a blockbuster all-British world title fight against former stablemate Lawrence Okolie at Vitality Stadium.
It was announced last month Billam-Smith would finally fulfil his dream of boxing at the home of his beloved Cherries on Saturday, May 27.
And the opponent has now been announced, with unbeaten Okolie set to put his WBO cruiserweight title on the line.
Okolie made a winning return to action less than two weeks ago, defeating David Light by unanimous decision, the first time he had been in the ring in over a year.
That took the 30-year-old’s record to 19-0.
Okolie used to train alongside Billam-Smith with Shane McGuigan, but recently left the stable to link up with Tyson Fury’s coach SugarHill Steward.
Billam-Smith, 32, has a professional record of 17-1 after two wins at the BIC last year.
