CHERRIES have named an unchanged side for the first time in almost five months for this afternoon’s clash at Aston Villa.

With various injuries plaguing the squad during his tenure, Gary O’Neil had not named the same XI for back-to-back matches since defeats to Southampton and West Ham United in October.

That came at the end of a run of four straight matches in which Cherries named the same side.

And, following last weekend’s stunning 1-0 victory over Liverpool, O’Neil has opted to name the same XI again this afternoon.

There is one change among the substitutes, with Hamed Traore fit again and coming in with Ryan Fredericks not in the matchday squad.

David Brooks is again involved on the bench and could feature for the first time since September 2021.

Cherries have won their past four matches against Villa and will be looking to move out of the relegation zone with victory today.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Cherries: Neto; Smith, Stephens, Senesi, Kelly; Lerma, Rothwell; Ouattara, Billing, Anthony; Solanke.

Unused subs: Mepham, Vina, Cook, Traore, Brooks, Christie, Semenyo, Moore, Travers (g/k).
