CHERRIES’ latest signing Dango Ouattara has revealed how he spoke to international teammate Bertrand Traore prior to sealing his move to the Premier League.
Traore became the first Burkinabè player in the English top-flight back in December 2015 for Chelsea, coincidentally coming off the bench against Cherries.
In an interview with afcbtv, Ouattara detailed the advice his compatriot had given him.
He explained: “The first player from Burkina Faso was Bertrand Traore, he’s an excellent player and is the captain of the national team.
“Like all the national team players, he gives me a lot of advice, he speaks to me whenever I decide to do something.
“Since now I’ve decided to come to the Premier League, he told me to give it my all, to do what I know best and not to let it get to my head, as it’s only football.”
