Gary O’Neil has missed out on the Barclay’s September manager of the month award for The Premier League.
Yet again, the big clubs win the top awards. Ten Hag won the award for transforming Man United into fifth spot and Antonio Conte came second.
Gary works without a contract, day by day, week by week. He has transformed Cherries after the defeat at Liverpool, gaining a fantastic win at former European Champions Nottingham Forest. The uncertainty of his situation will hopefully be settled soon, with the takeover by Bill Foley.
Gary deserves special praise for his commitment, focus, drive and energy in stabilising Cherries’ fortunes. Do Ten Hag, and Antonio Conte work under such pressure and uncertainty?
