PIRATES have announced the dates of their SGB Championship play-off showdown against Leicester Lions after progressing to the final of the competition.
The Dorset club are set to hold the first leg of the finale at Wimborne Road on Friday, October 21, before the second leg at Beaumont Park on Saturday, October 22.
Leicester get the advantage of the second leg on home shale, having finished top of the SGB Championship table.
The Lions overcame Edinburgh Monarchs in their semi-final, while Poole have beaten Plymouth and Glasgow to set up the tie with Stewart Dickson’s side.
Pirates are also in the finals of the Championship Knockout Cup and Jubilee League to end their campaign.
Promoter Danny Ford said: “We are now in all three finals, which is where we wanted to be and now we’re just looking to finish the job in all three of them.”
