WOLVES have sacked head coach Bruno Lage.
The 46-year-old arrived at Molineux in June 2021 after previous boss Nuno Espirito Santo departed to join Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portuguese guided Wolves to a 10th-place finish last Premier League campaign, but a 2-0 defeat to West Ham saw them plunge to 18th after eight matches.
They are the lowest scorers in the division with just three goals and Southampton are the only team they have beaten this season.
Lage's Wolves drew 0-0 at Vitality Stadium last month, in Gary O'Neil's first game in interim charge, just days on from the 9-0 humiliation at Liverpool under Scott Parker.
Lage becomes the third Premier League manager sacked this campaign, following Parker and Thomas Tuchel being relieved of their duties from Cherries and Chelsea respectively.
