INTERIM boss Gary O’Neil revealed Junior Stanislas missed Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Brentford due to a “slight niggle”.
The Cherries winger had featured during the Dorset club’s opening two top-flight games this season but picked up a groin problem which kept him out of four matchday squads.
He returned on the bench for the 1-1 draw with Newcastle before the international break but was not part of the squad for the clash with Thomas Frank’s Bees.
Asked for an update on the 32-year-old, O’Neil said: “Junior had a real, slight niggle.
“He’ll be fine next week. It was just one where he wasn’t quite ready for the game. We’re hopeful we can get a few bodies back.”
Cherries host Leicester City in the Premier League next Saturday (3pm).
