CAPTAIN Lloyd Kelly will again be unavailable when Cherries host Brentford this weekend.

The centre-back missed the trip to Newcastle United before the international break due to an ankle problem picked up in training.

And interim boss Gary O'Neil confirmed 23-year-old will again not be fit to face Thomas Frank's Bees on Saturday.

O'Neil also provided an update on Ryan Fredericks, Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell, who all missed the clash at St James' Park.

"The boys that are on their way back are doing really well," said O'Neil.

"Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell are getting real close.

"Ryan Fredericks has made big improvements.

"Lloyd Kelly won’t be available yet. I think that’s pretty much a full update on where we are.

"But I’m delighted with where the group are as a whole."

Asked if all his international players have returned fit and healthy, O'Neil added: "We’re all good, really pleased with where the group are and excited for the game.

"Excited to see what the boys can produce again on Saturday, in front of our own fans."

Cherries currently sit 12th in the Premier League table, one point and three places behind Brentford.
