POOLE Town have been drawn away to Winchester City in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.
Dolphins began their campaign with a win at the City Ground, defeating Winchester City on the opening day of the season.
Winchester are currently four points behind the Dolphins in the Southern League Premier South, winning just one of their seven games in their debut Step Three campaign.
The tie will be hosted on Saturday, October 8, with winners receiving £2450, whilst losers pocket £625.
Dolphins have a notoriously poor record in the FA Trophy, failing to make the competition proper between 1987 and 2014.
Their best run in the competition came in the 2020-21 campaign, with Poole reaching the second round for the first time.
Thanks to restructuring of the competition, Poole now enter the tournament one win away from the First round proper.
Poole are in action this midweek, when they travel to Gosport Borough on Wednesday evening.
