SWAY are champions of Division One for the first time in 31 years. They completed their campaign with a 4-0 victory over Verwood Town courtesy of goals from Dominic Taylor, Paul Sims, Adam Gates, and an own goal while neighbours Pennington St Marks gave them a helping hand when they ended reigning champions Suttoners Civil's title hopes by beating them 1-0 with a goal from Stuart Sims.

Old Oakmeadians are setting their sights on finishing third in their first season in the top flight after Scott Reilly (2), Sean Huggins, and Keith Fitz-John poleaxed Trinidad 4-0 but they may face a bit of competition from Southbourne who beat Redhill Rangers 6-0 with goals from Liam McGlynn (2), Adie Chavez-Munoz (2), Jason Morgan, and Gareth Barnes.

TOWN TRIUMPHANT

MIKE La Ronde struck for Parley Sports but Division Two promotion rivals Ferndown Town resurrected their title hopes after three successive defeats by winning 4-1 with goals from Mike Haskell (2), Ben Cooper, and Craig Robinson. One point from their last two games would be enough for Ferndown to take the title from current leaders Suttoners Civil on goal difference.

Ed Ewens (2), Ben Di Verdi, and Alex Eley netted for Urban Bournemouth but they promotion hopes were dented when AFC Highcliffe held them to a 4-4 draw with goals from Dave Horgan (2), Barry Hinz, and Dean Brooker.

Mudeford Mens Club saw their promotion aspirations evaporate in a 2-1 defeat to goals from Jason Thorne and Jamie Pain at Fordingbridge Turks while Allendale boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop when Ricky Mee and David Rimmer gave them the edge 2-1 against Westover Reserves.

Kane Daysh rattled in four and there were hat-tricks from John Turle and Dave Watton when Electric Reserves crushed Bournemouth A 15-0 with Namir Hassan, Andre Neville, and Matt Rideout completing the rout.

  • Ben Osborne and Ben Mowlam netted for Harrington United but the Division Three pacesetters had their unbeaten record ruined when Twynham Rangers shrugged off the disappointment of Thursday night's M A Hart Page Croft Cup Final defeat to ambush them 3-2 thanks to Gareth Brickhill, Chris Forbes, and an own goal.

Anthony Winders, who grabbed the stoppage time winner in the Page Croft Final, was on the scoresheet again with a hat-trick in Dorset Knob's 7-0 hammering of AFC Burton with Sean Read, Darren Facer, and an own goal completing the rout.

Dave Mountford struck twice in third-placed St Mary's 3-0 victory over St Andrews with Rob Stanyard getting the other one.

PORTS PICK UP TITLE

Portcastrian clinched the Division Four title when Dan Jones (2), Chris Egerton, Ben Virabi, and Harry Cummings gave them a 5-1 victory over Cherry Bees whose consolation goal came from Mark Fowler.

Alderholt go second after their 5-0 triumph over Stourvale through Kevin Crabb (2), Stuart Cromie, Rob Gilbert, and an own goal while Old Oakmeadians Reserves had to settle for a 0-0 draw with Wessex Lions.

Karl Painter's 30 yard strike settled the issue 1-0 for Malt n Hops United against Magpies and Woolsbridge United while Newton Con move out of the relegation zone after Simon Gra-ham (2) and Matthew Miles gave them a 3-0 victory over Winton.
