GRAHAM Kemp thinks his inconsistent Christchurch side will be fortunate to collect any more points this season if they continue to perform as they did in the second half of Saturday's heavy defeat against Cowes Sports.

The Priory boss, who recently targeted a top-10 finish for his team, watched in disgust as the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division clash slipped away after the break.

He described the second-half effort as "atrocious" in a candid account of his team's display.

"If we play like we did in the second half I don't think we'll pick up another point this season," Kemp told the Daily Echo.

"We couldn't pass, couldn't head, couldn't talk and had no desire or passion. Apart from that we were brilliant.

"The way the team had played in the last five or six games, perhaps they're a bit deluded and think they're better than they are."

One positive for the Hurn Bridge outfit is that Kemp has completed the signing of Bashley's James Burden.
