THREE members of staff who joined Cherries alongside Scott Parker have also today exited the club, the Daily Echo understands.

Parker was sacked just four games into the Premier League season, little over a year after leaving Fulham to take the job.

It comes after the 41-year-old regularly expressed concerns in recent weeks over his squad's lack of depth and quality, with the transfer window coming towards a close.

Owner Maxim Demin said: β€œIn order for us to keep progressing as a team and a club as a whole, it is unconditional that we are aligned in our strategy to run the club sustainably.

"We must also show belief in and respect for one another. That is the approach that has brought this club so much success in recent history, and one that we will not veer from now.

"Our search for a new head coach will begin immediately.”

In the interim, senior first team coach Gary O'Neil has taken the helm, ahead of tomorrow's home clash against winless Wolverhampton Wanderers (7.30pm).

Development squad coaches Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick will act as O'Neil's assistants.

Parker's assistant boss during his time at Cherries, and Fulham, was Matt Wells, who has too left the club.

Following the pair out the door is Rob Burch, goalkeeper coach and defensive set-pieces coach, as well as analyst Jonathan Hill.

It is understood the two other members of staff hired by Parker, head of performance Alastair Harris and lead physical performance Charlie Moore, are currently staying in their posts at Cherries.
