NEW recruits Wes Fogden and Toby Holmes, as well as a goal from Declan Rose ensured Poole Town got off to a blistering start to their Southern League Premier South campaign.

Tom Killick’s Dolphins recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory on the road at Winchester City – a result which put them joint top of the league standings after the opening contest.

It took former Cherries man Fogden just 10 minutes to open his account competitively for the club, before Rose added a second 15 minutes later.
