JORDAN Zemura moved to thank "amazing" Philip Billing for helping him integrate into Cherries' first team, hailing the Dane as "a great guy".
Zemura enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough campaign at Cherries last season, making 33 Championship appearances, scoring three goals.
Billing, who joined Cherries from Huddersfield Town in 2019, was one of the club's standout performers as they clinched their return to the Premier League.
Under Scott Parker, the Denmark international bagged 11 goals and provided 10 assists, including the vital pass for Kieffer Moore's dramatic winner against Nottingham Forest to seal promotion.
"Phil’s been amazing," left-back Zemura told the Daily Echo.
"Honestly, since I first stepped into the first-team changing room, he’s always helped push me in every single training session.
"So I can only say thank you and well done to him because he’s a great guy."
Cherries return to action with a pre-season friendly against Sheffield Wednesday in Portugal next week.
