OUR Perfect Promotion XI is nearly complete – with just two rounds of voting remaining.

Thanks to our Daily Echo readers, eight spots in the side have already been filled.

Now it is time for the final straight shootout, with our final vote for the strikers another multi-vote.

After this vote we will have our midfield, with the right-wing and central-midfield already decided.

Over the next few weeks, the class of 2015 will be up against last season’s promotion heroes, giving Daily Echo readers the opportunity to select the members of their ‘Perfect Promotion XI’.

In order to qualify for selection, players will have had to have played 1500 minutes of league action to be eligible for selection in a poll.

Voting will last for two days, allowing as many Daily Echo readers to vote as possible.

Today Marc Pugh goes up against breakthrough star Jaidon Anthony for the spot on the right-wing.

Anthony played in all but one league game as Cherries finished second in Scott Parker’s first season as Cherries boss, achieving promotion to England’s top-flight after two seasons in the Championship.

The 22-year-old grabbed eight goals and provided six assists during 3,264 minutes of league action.

In comparison, Pugh was a well-established member of Eddie Howe’s squad, elapsing the 200 game mark during the title-winning season.

Pugh made 42 appearances, amassing 2,988 minutes whilst scoring nine times and laying-on six assists.
