WE have another five-way battle in our Daily Echo’s Perfect Promotion XI voting, with the central midfield spots in our vote up for grabs.

With two positions to fill, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Over the next few weeks, the class of 2015 will be up against last season’s promotion heroes, giving Daily Echo readers the opportunity to select the members of their ‘Perfect Promotion XI’.

In order to qualify for selection, players will have had to have played 1500 minutes of league action to be eligible for selection in a poll.

Voting will last for two days, allowing as many Daily Echo readers to vote as possible.

We are now beyond the half-way point, with six players confirmed in the side.

We will announce the winners of each poll all together, once voting has concluded in the final poll.

Based on our qualifying criteria, there are two members from the title winning side of 2015 up against three members of Scott Parker’s promotion achievers from last term.

Andrew Surman and Harry Arter were a formidable duo in the middle of the park for Cherries during the 2014-15 campaign, with the pair making over 40 appearances and playing over 3500 minutes of football each.

VOTE - Select two players

Parker utilised three central midfielders throughout the campaign, and despite suspensions and injuries keeping players out at different times, there were three players who met the 1500 minute threshold.

Jefferson Lerma was the man plagued by suspension, whilst Lewis Cook came back from a cruciate ligament injury mid-way through the campaign to become a settled face during Cherries’ final push for promotion.

The fifth and final option is another strong choice, with Dane Phil Billing up for selection off the back of a career-high season. Former Huddersfield Town man Billing scored 10 goals and laid on a further 10 for teammates.
