KIEFFER Moore believes his brace on his return from injury was a reward for the hard work he put in to get back out on the pitch after breaking his foot four minutes into his debut.

Moore came off the bench to help Cherries turn around a three goal deficit, with the former Cardiff City man silencing his former rivals with goals either side of Dominic Solanke’s penalty.

A deadline day signing, the Welsh international had missed Cherries’ last 13 league games after sustaining the injury in an innocuous duel for a header.

Speaking to afcbTV after the game, Moore stated: “I feel good.

“It's ultimately a game where we want to come away with three points, but to come back in the fashion we did, and for me to personally get my first goal for the club is amazing.

“A point at this stage of the season is not the end of the world.”

As the estimated timeframe for Moore’s return kept on being pushed back, it appeared that the former Dorchester Town striker would miss the remainder of the season.

However, thanks to the 29-year-old’s hardwork off the pitch, he was able to finally help his side on it.

“It’s never easy to get a setback straight away when you join a new club,” continued Moore.

“Obviously breaking my foot four minutes in, which isn’t ideal, but, the rehab, it's been long, it's been hard.

“But I feel like that's just a bit of something special for me, for all the hard work I've put in, maybe.

“To be honest, the first thing when I got injured and had the surgery it was how quickly can I get back?

2And that was always on my mind. I wanted to be out there, help the lads.

“Hopefully now I can play a massive part in getting us promoted, and that's generally all we want.

“We're working very hard. Everyone is working so diligently trying to get us promoted, and if I can play my part, I'm more than happy. It's a pleasure to be out there.

“I felt like I got through that nicely. Like I said, I don't feel like I'm fully where I want to be, but I'm going to work hard. I'm going to look after myself. I'm going to prepare to my best extent and full focus on Saturday.”
