SUPER-SUB Kieffer Moore made a goalscoring return to action, with the Welsh international haunting former rivals Swansea City with two late goals.

Joel Piroe’s quickfire double early on had put Swans in a strong position, with the hosts adding a third through Cyrus Christie early in the second period.

Former Cardiff City man Kieffer Moore seemingly just restored pride for Cherries, before Dominic Solanke coolly slotted home a penalty to really put the pressure on Swans.

Solanke then saw a header saved by Andy Fisher, only for Moore to chuck himself at the ball and poke home an equaliser for a 3-3 draw.

Despite the late heroics in Wales, it was not all plain sailing for Cherries, as Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win away at champions-elect Fulham cut the gap between Cherries and the Tricky Tees to just three points, heightening the pressure ahead of the final three games of the season.

Cherries made one change to the side that held Fulham at the weekend, with Philip Billing dropping to the bench for Jamal Lowe. The change in personnel caused a change in shape, with Solanke leading the line in front of an advanced midfield trio of Ryan Christie, Jamal Lowe, and Jaidon Anthony.

After a tempered opening to the game, it was Swansea who drew first blood after just five minutes of action, with Dutchman Piroe on hand to pounce on a rebound in the Cherries’ box.

Mark Travers had gotten down quickly to deny right-back Cyrus Christie with his feet, but the shotstopper was unable to prevent Piroe from slotting the ball into the opposite corner.

Piroe would ensure that it would be a nightmare start for Cherries in south Wales, with the former PSV man finding the net again after just 12 minutes.

Supplied the ball in the middle of the pitch, the 22-year-old struck a well-placed effort beyond the reach of Travers and into the bottom right corner.

Dismayed yet undeterred by the two-goal set-back early on, Cherries hemmed the hosts inside their own half for 20 minutes following the second.

Despite their ability to get the ball inside of Swansea’s area with great frequency, Cherries were unable to carve out any clear cut opportunities.

The closest the Dorset club came was via Solanke, who was unable to get a clean connection at the back-post following a flicked-on corner.

Swans weathered the storm into the break, prompting Cherries boss Scott Parker to switch his side around, bringing in Billing at the expense of Smith, leaving the away side with three at the back.

Anthony, now deployed at left-wing back, came close to pulling one back early into the second period, but the youngster could only stab his effort at the feet of Fisher in the Swansea goal.

Whilst Cherries again kept Swansea penned back, it would be the Welsh side that would grab the game’s third goal on the counter.

Piroe, influential throughout, pulled the strings again, this time kickstarting the move that would end with Cyrus Christie smashing home. The Dutchman picked up the ball on the halfway line, drove forward to tee-up Michael Obafemi, who in turned provided the final ball for Cyrus Christie to blast past countryman Travers.

With 30 minutes to salvage anything from the game, Parker brought on Welsh international Moore for the first time since his return from injury.

Moore would repay his manager’s trust, grabbing what seemed to be a consolation goal from Anthony’s corner

The towering striker nodded home to reduce the deficit to two, giving his side a glimmer of hope.

That hope must have grown for Cherries when they were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute.

Ryan Manning’s sliding tackle blocked Anthony’s cross illegally, with the full-back’s hand in the way.

Solanke stepped up to slot home and reduce arrears again.

Cherries mantained their near constant pressure of the Swansea goal, eventually producing an equaliser in the added time.

Solanke's close-range header was clawed away by Fisher, but Moore was on hand to fling himself at the back-post and bundle home a vital point in the promotion race.

A curling effort Anthony in the final minute of added time had to be tipped over by Fisher, giving Cherries a final chance to snatch all three points.

However, the cross was claimed by Fisher, with the game phasing out into a 3-3 draw.
