CHERRIES will be able to call upon the services of most of their senior squad for the trip away to Huddersfield this weekend, with Scott Parker confirming that Robbie Brady and Leif Davis were both in training ahead of the key promotion battle.

Former England international Parker also issued an update on long-term absentees Kieffer Moore and Junior Stanislas, with Cherries’ boss hopeful that Vitality Stadium stalwart Stanislas will be back after the international break.

Parker also stated that scans indicated that Leif Davis’ injury was not as bad as first feared, before implying that Saturday’s game with Huddersfield might come too soon for the Leeds United loanee.

Cherries’ head coach said: “Kieffer Moore and Junior Stanislas are still not fit and will be some weeks, but everyone else is in a good place.

“Full fit squad, really. Robbie Brady's coming back still, but he's been training now, so everyone fit and well and ready to go.

“Leif as well. Leif’s scans come back not as bad as we would have thought.

“He was running today, albeit very light. I suspect he will progress pretty quick and be available again soon.”

Since joining Cherries in October, Robbie Brady has only mustered 130 minutes of action in four games for the Dorset club, with the Irish international’s career on the south coast blighted by a myriad of injuries.

It’s a similar story for Stanislas this campaign, with the veteran winger only having a marginally bigger total of 202 minutes across eight appearances.

Speaking about his beleaguered wingers, Parker said: “Again, both of them have spent large parts of the season in the medical room through injury, which has been really unlucky and really unfortunate for us.

“But like I said, Robbie has been back training for the last week, Junior’s heading in the right direction as well.

“So hopefully after the international break, Junior will be back with the group, modified and moving in the right direction.”

One positive for Cherries will be the return of key players from suspension. Adam Smith and Philip Billing have now served their respective three-match and two-match bans, allowing the pair to face their former club, Huddersfield, at the weekend.

However, it appears that the pair may not instantly be reinstated to the starting eleven, with Parker set to make a decision in the coming days.

“Two players there (Adam Smith and Philip Billing) obviously that we've missed through suspension,” added Parker.

“Pleased to have them back in the squad for the weekend as well.

“So looking forward to obviously getting them back in with the squad and make a decision on that in the coming days.”
