SCOTT Parker admits it is too early to fully assess the injuries suffered by Leif Davis and Jamal Lowe during this afternoon's victory over Derby County.

Davis, recalled to the starting line-up in favour of Jordan Zemura, limped off during the first half.

Lowe came on as a second-half substitute and scored his fourth goal in five games to secure a 2-0 win.

But his goal came whilst he was already carrying an injury following an earlier knock.

Asked for an update on the pair, Parker told the Daily Echo: "I think he (Lowe) got a big dead leg, a big collision and he’s got a bit of a dead leg.

"We’ll have to see how that pans out over the night.

"Normally you find with them they become a bit more of an issue later on when the blood is starting to fill up in the leg, so we’ll have to see how bad that is."

On Davis, Parker added: "He seems to have done his hip flexor, felt his hip flexor. It seems a problem, but it’s too early to know at the moment.

"We’ll have to see how he is tomorrow."

Both players are now early fitness doubts for the visit of Reading on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
