CHERRIES boss Scott Parker has been nominated for the Championship's manager of the month award for February.

After the month began with the humiliating FA Cup loss to Boreham Wood, Cherries picked up maximum points in the league.

Goals from Ryan Christie, Dominic Solanke and Jaidon Anthony earned Cherries a 3-1 home win over Birmingham City, despite Jefferson Lerma being sent off.

Parker's men then grabbed two dramatic victories from the jaws of defeats.

Late, late goals from Jamal Lowe and Siriki Dembele earned a 2-1 win over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.

Then, after games against Nottingham Forest and Swansea City were called off due to Storm Eunice, Cherries repeated the trick two weeks later when Stoke City visited Vitality Stadium.

Trailing 1-0 with seven minutes to play, Solanke and Lowe popped up to secure another 2-1 win.

Parker is nominated for the award alongside Carlos Corberan (Huddersfield), Nathan Jones (Luton) and Gary Rowett (Millwall).

The winner for February will be announced tomorrow.

Parker has won the award twice already this season, in September and October.
