CHERRIES Women will make their competitive debut at the Vitality Stadium later on this season.

Steve Cuss’ side will host their final home game of the campaign against Chesham at the Vitality Stadium.

Chesham will travel down to Dorset to face Cherries for the penultimate game of the season on Sunday, April 10, with kick off at 2pm.

In their first season in the National League Division One South West, Cherries find themselves in the hunt for a second successive promotion.

Whilst they are currently five points off league leaders Cheltenham Town, they do enjoy two games in hand on the Gloucestershire outfit.

Chesham are one place behind Cherries, currently occupying third place. Just beyond the halfway point of the campaign, Cuss’ charges are currently unbeaten, picking up 27 points from 11 games.

Even though Cherries are yet to play a competitive game at the Vitality, they have previously played a friendly with a development side from Chelsea, one of the leading clubs in the women’s game.

Tickets are now on sale, with blocks six, seven, eight and nine open in the Vitality Main Stand. The club has also stated that if demand calls for it, further sections of the ground will be opened up for fans.

Cherries have a local derby tomorrow night, when they play Poole Town Ladies at Potterne Park in the National League.

Poole are yet to win a league game this season, propping up the 10 team division with one point from 13 games.

In their first meeting this season, Cherries put six past their neighbours without reply.
