BOSS Scott Parker insisted Cherries were “in discussions” with Manchester City over the future of loanee Morgan Rogers.
The winger, signed in the summer until the end of the season from the Citizens, has been omitted from the Dorset club’s Championship squad for the second half of the campaign.
Clubs in the second tier are permitted to name 25 players to choose from for league matches.
Rules stipulate players aged 21 or under and owned by the club do not have to be included in the list.
However, following seven signings made during January, there is no longer a spot for Rogers.
Asked whether there had been on update on the former West Brom man’s future, Parker told the Daily Echo: “At the moment he is not in the 25-man squad, he has not been brought up to that.
“We are in discussions with Man City and I think we will get to a solution with Morgan.
“We will see how that pans out.”
Rogers has scored one goal in 17 games during his loan spell, in a 3-2 defeat at Luton Town last month.
