NEW Cherries winger Siriki Dembele insisted he had not yet made a decision on who he would like to represent internationally.

The 25-year-old, born on the Ivory Coast, is said to be eligible to represent either Scotland, Ivory Coast or England – but is yet to receive a call-up at any level.

Asked about which one of those he would pick, if in the mix for a call-up, the forward told afcbTV: “If I’m honest, I have Ivory Coast in mind but the truth is I haven’t made the final decision on which one I would pick.

“When the time comes, I’ll know.”

Dembele’s brother Karamoko, who plays for Scottish giants Celtic, has represented both England and Scotland at youth level.

Siriki added: “My family moved from Ivory Coast to London, not for footballing reasons at all. This was just my parents’ decision, not mine.

“Then we moved to Glasgow and we’ve been living in Glasgow ever since.”

Dembele will have to wait for his debut for Scott Parker’s men, having been cup-tied for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Boreham Wood.
