CHERRIES have completed the permanent signing of Cardiff City striker Kieffer Moore.

The Wales international arrives for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be around £3.5million.

Moore, 29, has been linked with a move away from south Wales for much of the month, but it came right down to deadline day before Cherries could complete the deal.

He has penned a three-and-a-half year contract with the Dorset club.

Moore joined the Bluebirds from Wigan in August 2020 and has gone on to score 25 times in 66 games.

The 6ft 4in forward is no stranger to Dorset, having previously spent time in non-league with Dorchester Town back in 2013.

The Torquay-born star has also featured for the likes of Truro City, Forest Green Rovers and Barnsley, as well as a brief stint at Norwegian outfit Viking.

Moore arrives to provide competition to Cherries' top scorer Dominic Solanke for a starting striker's berth, with Jamal Lowe also an option through the centre.

All month Scott Parker expressed his desire to add a player in that area on the pitch and he has now got his man.

Moore has not featured for Cardiff since hobbling off during their 3-0 defeat at Vitality Stadium with an ankle injury in December.
