SIRIKI Dembele and Freddie Woodman are both booked in for medicals at Cherries this morning.

As per reports elsewhere, the Daily Echo understands the pair are closing in on completing deadline day moves to Cherries, after deals were agreed with Peterborough and Newcastle respectively.

Dembele is set to arrive on a permanent deal, reportedly for around £1.5million, despite interest from fellow Championship clubs Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers.

Goalkeeper Woodman meanwhile is set to arrive on a loan deal.

The third-choice Newcastle stopper was close to joining Cherries over the summer, only for injury problems among the goalkeeping department at his parent club to scupper the deal.

But Magpies boss Eddie Howe has sanctioned a move for Woodman this month.

Cherries were suddenly on the lookout for a goalkeeper following an injury to number two Orjan Nyland last week, which is set to keep him out for up to two months.

That left only inexperienced duo Will Dennis and Cameron Plain as backup options to first choice Mark Travers.

Meanwhile, Todd Cantwell is reportedly also set to join Cherries today.

The Norwich City midfielder was also linked with Olympiakos and Granada, but outlets such as Sky Sports and The Athletic have reported the 23-year-old has agreed to join Cherries on a loan deal, which could become permanent in the summer if Cherries are promoted.

Kieffer Moore is also reportedly heading to Vitality Stadium to complete a medical ahead of a £3.5million switch from Cardiff City.

The likes of Joe Rothwell, Neco Williams and Jamie Paterson have also all been linked in the past 24 hours, with Morgan Rogers likely to be recalled by Manchester City on what is set to be a manic day at Cherries.
