LEIF Davis insisted working under Scott Parker has helped him improve as a player during his loan spell at Cherries.
The 22-year-old has played 12 times for the Dorset club since making a season-long switch from Leeds United in July.
Davis has started the past three games in all competitions under Parker, while Jordan Zemura was unavailable.
Asked what it was like working with former England international Parker, Davis told the Daily Echo: “He will help you. Every day he helps with what I need to improve.
“You can go and speak to him, if you want to speak to him about anything on the pitch you need to do.
“He will help you every day to learn with extra work. He will help you to improve your play.”
Davis will be hoping to keep his place ahead of Zemura, who has been pictured back in training with Cherries’ squad after representing Zimbabwe in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Parker’s men make the trip to face Barnsley in the Championship on Saturday.
