TURKISH side Adanaspor have announced the signing of former Cherries winger Jordon Ibe on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

The 26-year-old has arrived at the club nicknamed Turuncu, who are currently eighth in the Turkish second tier.

Ibe was a free agent before joining up with Adanaspor, having seen his contract at Derby County cancelled by mutual consent in July 2021.

After completing the move, a post on the former Liverpool star’s Instagram read: “God knows how much this means to me. The trials and tribulations I’ve been through.

“Thank you Jesus. Thank you @adanasporresmi for getting me back on track. Close family and loved ones. Most importantly Ariana-Rose.”

Winger Ibe arrived at Cherries for around £15million from Liverpool in 2016 and featured 92 times for the club, scoring five goals before his contract expired.

Ibe, who began his career at Wycombe, also had a loan spell at Birmingham in 2014.
