FULHAM moved to within one point of Cherries with their second 7-0 away win of the Championship season.

Marco Silva's men headed to the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading last night on a run of five games without a win in the second tier.

That had seen them drop off top spot, with Scott Parker's men sneaking ahead of them. They even slipped to third behind Blackburn Rovers in recent weeks, following postponements.

However, Fulham got back in track in some style, thumping Veljko Paunovic's struggling Royals.

Former Cherries loanee Harry Wilson struck twice, as did the Championship's leading goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Kenny Tete, Neeskens Kebano and Tosin Adarabioyo were also on target in the rout.

Reading striker Andy Carroll had two goals disallowed for offside for the hosts before the second-half capitulation.

It is the second time Silva's charges have won 7-0 this season, also dispatching of Blackburn by the same score at Ewood Park in November.

Fulham now sit second in the Championship with 48 points from 24 fixtures.

Cherries have 49 from 25 games, while Blackburn are down to third with 46 points, also from 25 matches.

Parker's men are back in action on Saturday, travelling to Luton Town (12.30pm).
