CHERRIES star Jordan Zemura is finally set to link up with his Zimbabwe teammates for the African Cup of Nations.

The Zimbabwe FA has confirmed that he will arrive in Cameroon tonight and travel to Bana tomorrow.

His arrival with the squad had been delayed after COVID concerns at Cherries, but he is now free to join his side for the remaining two matches of the group stage.

On Twitter, youngster Zemura said: “Can’t wait to join the boys, and represent my Zimbabwe.

Two important games to get out the group everything is possible.”

Zimbabwe suffered late heartbreak in their opening match of the delayed tournament.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane converted a late and dubious penalty to seal a 1-0 win for Senegal, after an inspired performance by Zemura’s nation.

The 22-year-old left-back has been capped four times, following a stellar breakout season under head coach Scott Parker.
