IT almost feels like a lifetime since Cherries last won - at least judging by the reaction on social media.
Three points at Loftus Road was enough to take Scott Parker's charges back to the top of the pile, with the added benefit of stopping a run of six games without a win.
It wasn't the most straight forward of wins, leaving many Cherries fans watching from home nervously waiting for the final whistle to blow after nine minutes of added time.
Here are just some of the many reactions and opinions shared on Twitter after the match.
Stand out performances for me were @jeffersonlerma and @c_meps for me today. #solid #afcb

Terrific night at QPR. Cherries were tenacious, dogged and occasionally classy. Solanke and Jeff astonishing work rate. Brilliant entertainment. And three points. 🍒 #afcb
