DANYON Hume, part of Poole Pirates' league and cup double-winning side of 2021, has signed for Championship rivals Glasgow Tigers.
Hume, who joined Pirates as part of the 'Rising Star' programme introduced last season, jumped up from his starting spot at reserve to end the campaign in the main body of the team.
The former Leicester rider, who has also been confirmed in the number eight spot by Premiership outfit Ipswich Witches for next season, featured for Poole in both legs of the SGB Championship play-off final against Glasgow, scoring 6+1 across the two meetings.
And he has now been snapped up by last season's losing finalists as their third signing of the winter.
Tom Brennan and Connor Bailey have also been confirmed by Tigers.
Poole Pirates are yet to announce any riders for 2022, but promoter Danny Ford last week told the Echo he was pleased with how preparations were going behind the scenes.
Another of Pirates' riders in 2021, Benjamin Basso, was last week announced as a new signing for reigning Premiership champions Peterborough Panthers.
