HEAD coach Scott Parker revealed how he did not want to risk Ben Pearson for Saturday’s clash with Swansea City.
The former Manchester United youngster picked up an ankle problem during the 2-1 defeat to Preston last week.
And Pearson was a notable absentee from Parker’s squad against the Welsh outfit, during which Cherries surged to a 4-0 win.
Asked for an update on the midfielder, Parker said: “He got an injury on Wednesday.
“Hurt his ankle and look, I have tough decisions to make, I have got a very good squad here.
“I just didn’t want to take the risk of not knowing if I needed to bring him on, whether he could get through the game.
“He trained lightly on Friday and I had to make that decision.”
