SCOTT Parker described as "frustrating" the nature of the goals Cherries conceded against Preston North End last night.

Philip Billing netted for the hosts, but could not prevent a 2-1 defeat to Frankie McAvoy's Lilywhites at Vitality Stadium.

Both Preston goals arrived in the second half. The first came when Tom Barkhuizen's low cross from the right was swept home impressively by midfielder Ben Whiteman.

And, after Jack Stacey was beaten for pace on the opposite flank, the winning goal came courtesy of Emil Riis Jakobsen's cutback, fired in by Ali McCann.

Asked if he was frustrated by the similar nature of Preston's goals, Cherries boss Parker told the Daily Echo: "It was a little bit frustrating. I’ve not seen them back.

"I’ve not gone over them. But of course we pride ourselves on clean sheets.

"(On Wednesday) that’s not been the case. I’m sure there’s elements of those goals we’ll look at and we’ll work out where we can improve in those moments and get better.

"So two good finishes, but I’m sure there’s bits where we need to improve on that."
