JORDAN Zemura will see a specialist next week to discover the full extent of his ankle injury.

The left-back was eventually forced off against Reading on Saturday, after sustaining the problem following a heavy challenge by Royals midfielder Josh Laurent.

The 21-year-old missed tonight's 2-1 defeat against Preston North End due to the problem, with Chris Mepham deputising at left-back.

Ali McCann scored the late winner for the visitors, after Philip Billing had cancelled out Ben Whiteman's strike.

And boss Scott Parker revealed Zemura is also set to miss Saturday's home clash with Swansea City.

Asked how serious Zemura's ankle injury is, Parker told the Daily Echo: "We’re not sure at the moment. He’ll go to see a specialist next week and probably I’ll have a clearer idea on exactly what the full extent on the injury is at this moment.

"He won’t be available for the weekend so for timescales I’ll probably be in a bit more of a clearer position next week to tell you."
