PIRATES’ scheduled SGB Championship play-off semi-final first leg at Glasgow tonight has been postponed due to rain.
Both clubs this morning confirmed the postponement, with the sides now set to do battle at Ashfield on Thursday.
A post on Glasgow’s official Twitter page read: “With the rain that has already fallen, plus the forecast for more throughout the day, we have postponed our Grand-Final First-Leg tie with @poolespeedway until Thursday 28/10.”
Pirates are set to be in action in the Championship Knockout Cup second leg against Edinburgh at Wimborne Road tomorrow.
The Dorset club hold a 47-42 advantage after Saturday’s first leg.
