SCOTT Parker vowed Cherries would “keep moving together” after equalling the club record for an unbeaten start to a league campaign.
Parker’s class of 2021 went level with former player-manager Bill McGarry’s 1961-62 charges’ total of 14 games without defeat, with a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday.
Dominic Solanke struck twice in the opening period at Vitality Stadium, while Lloyd Kelly netted his first goal of the season to cap off a dominant performance.
Cherries have picked up 34 points from their opening 14 league fixtures, with 10 victories and four draws.
Quizzed on equalling the club record, Parker said: “We are going in the right direction.
“Of course, records are brilliant, the constant message to this team is processes – understanding what we need to do.
“I always say I have quality in this team. We have technical ability, but what you are seeing in this team is an endeavour and a real work-ethic first and foremost.
“That’s what’s giving us the platform to get results, really. At this present moment in time, that’s 14 games, it’s another win and we keep moving together.
“There’s still areas we need to improve and get better at but they are records that are pleasing.”
