BOSS Scott Parker believes Cherries were "well worthy" of victory at Hull City, admitting it was "frustrating" to see his side forced to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Dominic Solanke missed a big chance in each half, while Emiliano Marcondes also fired over the crossbar at the MKM Stadium.

Hull failed to register a shot on target throughout the contest, but did strike the crossbar courtesy of a Greg Docherty header.

"I think it was a frustrating day to be fair, I think that’s fair to say," Parker told afcbTV.

"We had some massive chances, big, big chances really.

"On another day you get your nose in front and I think the game falls into place for you and you run away with it really.

"On our chances we had, Dom’s first-half header from a set play, second half Dom has a chance, Emi cutback, I remember a couple fizzing across the face as well and just didn’t manage to end the moves really or certainly put the ball in the net.

"Certainly overall a little bit disappointing, because I feel like we were well worthy of the three points, but not to be.

"Undefeated now in our first five games, which is big, a clean sheet, and if you can’t win it, you don’t want to lose it. So that was pleasing really."

Discussing his side's second Championship clean sheet of the campaign, Parker added: "We looked solid. A couple of little moments, but you expect that in a game of football.

"Overall I think we dealt with their threat really, really well. Just a shame we weren’t on the end of a result really.

"I think we were well worthy of the three points, but it wasn’t to be."
