BOSS Scott Parker confirmed youngster Jaidon Anthony had suffered a broken wrist while in training with Cherries – but was still set to feature against MK Dons on Saturday.
The former Arsenal youngster, who has impressed throughout pre-season with the Dorset club, is set to have a specialist cast fitted which will allow him to play against the League One outfit.
Anthony missed Tuesday’s 2-1 friendly defeat to Chelsea at Vitality Stadium but Parker revealed the forward would be available for selection against MK.
Asked for an update on Anthony by the Daily Echo, the Cherries head coach replied: “He broke his wrist last week in training. It’s not a big break, it was just a tiny little line through his wrist.
“We’ve had him assessed and the specialist is happy for him to wear a cast and carry on.
“The past couple of days he has been back with us training. Yesterday he was more modified, today he was in with the group.
“He is going off today to have a specialist cast fitted. He will be involved the weekend, so he will crack on.”
Anthony played seven times at senior level for Cherries last season, having made his breakthrough to the first team at the club.
