CHERRIES could be set for a financial boost involving goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale – if he is transferred away from relegated Sheffield United.
The 23-year-old joined Cherries from the Blades for an initial £800,000 in January 2017, before heading back to Bramall Lane last summer for £18.5million.
And the Daily Echo understands Cherries have a significant sell-on clause in place regarding Ramsdale, who has been linked with a big-money move to Premier League big-guns Arsenal.
The Sheffield Star this week reported Sheffield United expect Arsenal to submit an official bid for the keeper, when he returns from England duty at Euro 2020.
The Daily Echo does however understand Cherries will not receive any further payment from Sheffield United, if the goalkeeper represents England at senior level.
It is understood this clause was not put in place because Ramsdale had already trained as part of the England setup, while with the Dorset club.
Ramsdale could be part of Gareth Southgate's squad to take on Ukraine in Rome tomorrow (8pm).
