CHERRIES are still in talks with the representatives of out-of-contract duo Junior Stanislas and Adam Smith over new deals at Vitality Stadium.
The pair are now officially free agents and were not expected back in for pre-season training at the Dorset club this week.
Both members of Cherries’ 2015 Championship winning squad, the pair have amassed around 450 appearances for the club combined.
And the Daily Echo understands the duo are still in dialogue with Cherries, who start their competitive fixture schedule with a home Carabao Cup clash with MK Dons on July 31.
Smith first played for Cherries while on loan from Tottenham in 2010, before re-signing permanently under Eddie Howe in 2014 and helping the club reach the top flight.
Stanislas arrived at Vitality Stadium in 2014 – reuniting with Howe after the pair worked together at Burnley.
