CHERRIES have announced they will be jetting off to Spain for a nine-day pre-season training camp.

Scott Parker’s side will head out to the Marbella Football Centre from July 11-20, and play La Liga outfit Granada in a friendly on Monday, July 19 (6pm UK time).

The Marbella Football Centre has been previously used by the club for pre-season, as new head coach Parker is set to run the rule over his new squad.

Friendly opponents Granada finished ninth in the Spanish top flight last season.

Cherries are set to begin their competitive campaign with a home Carabao Cup first-round clash against MK Dons on Saturday, July 31.

They will then host West Bromwich Albion in their Championship opener on Friday, August 6, that game has today been moved to be shown live on Sky Sports (7.45pm).
