FRENCH champions Lille are reportedly keeping a close watch on Cherries star Arnaut Danjuma.

The Dutchman enjoyed a stellar campaign with the Dorset club this term, which saw him named in the Championship team of the Season.

He scored 17 goals and registered eight assists. Two of his goals came in Cherries’ play-off semi-final defeat to Brentford across two legs earlier this month.

Thomas Frank’s Bees went on to beat Swansea in the play-off final at Wembley on Saturday and secure a place at England’s elite level.

Media outlet TEAMtalk claim Danjuma has caught the eye of the Ligue 1 winners with his performances.

Football League World last week reported five Premier League clubs are registering “a strong interest” in winger Danjuma after Cherries failed to secure promotion to the top flight.

Danjuma signed for Cherries from Belgian outfit Club Brugge for £13.7million in 2019. The former PSV youngster has made 52 appearances for the Dorset club.

Lille sealed the French top-flight title this season with 83 points – one ahead of Paris Saint Germain.
