BOSS Jonathan Woodgate admitted it was “disappointing” to see Junior Stanislas forced off through injury against Wycombe – with the winger set to undergo a scan.
Stanislas was treated on a hamstring problem at Adams Park before being replaced by Shane Long after 67 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to the Chairboys.
Asked for an update on injuries post-match, Woodgate said: “It’s just Junior, he’s got a slight hamstring strain.
“He will get a scan and let’s see how he is.”
Stanislas has played a key role for Cherries this campaign, scoring nine times and providing five assists from 35 Championship appearances.
“It’s important you steer clear of injuries at this stage of the season,” admitted Woodgate, who rotated his line-up to rest players ahead of the play-offs.
“I got one injury out of the game and that’s really disappointing.”
Striker Long made his first appearance since Good Friday, having overcome a hamstring problem.
